Planning Blog: Storyboard

 1st Sheet: 

The film starts with an establishing shot of the house on which the name of the studio, “Blue Breeze Studios” will appear. That shot that shows a creepy girl slowly walking through one of the windows. Soon after appears a four shot of teenage girls, Angie, Emma, Aleiah and Lili, all hanging out in a bedroom, gossiping, when one of them, Emma, starts to distance herself from her friends and goes to the bathroom. At this moment, the name of the production company, “A Plume Productions Film”pops up on the lower left corner. When in the bathroom, an eye-level shot as well as short cuts will show Emma glitching into her alternate self, portrayed as a creepy girl. That is when the name of the actress playing that role appears, Brianna Reyes, still on the lower left corner.  

2nd sheet:  

An eye-level shot of Emma shows her, still in the bathroom, getting a knife out of her clothes. Right above her head appears the name of the costars, such as Aleiah Luster, Angie Mendez, and Lili Amblard. Right after, a close up shot focuses on a picture of the friends, which Emma scratches with her weapon. She then shatters the frame, followed by an extreme close up shot of the smashed glass. Right at this moment, the title of the movie, “One of Us”, pops up in the middle of the screen. The camera then focuses on a three shot of the remaining friends in the bedroom, wondering if Emma is okay. Because of all the strange sounds of glass shattering, Lili decides to open the door to check on Emma. 

3rd sheet: 

 

In the beginning of these sciences on sheet 3 Emma starts to have weird behavior this will be shot as a 4 shot and high angle. Emma opens the bathroom door with a knife in her hand and is standing in front of her friends. Next, Angie, Aleiah, and Lili all get frightened and worried for there safety. This will be shot eye level being able to see there reaction to Emma’s weird behavior. Afterwards, in a low angle Emma will be shown with a knife. Emma’s face will have a suspicious smile. On the bottom left corner “Music by Tiny Tim” will be added as a credit. Emma’s friends become even more worried than before and asked Emma if she is okay. This is a three shot. In a over the shoulder shot Emma completely exits the bathroom getting closer and closer to her friends and tries to hurt them. A wide shot will occur as the three friends exit the bedroom and go down the stairs to escape from Emma there so called friend. On the stairs a credit will appear saying “Edited by Aleiah Luster”. 

4th sheet

The first scene on this sheet is a tracking shot. In this scene Aleiah, Angie, and Lili are running away from Emma in the street, while she chases them with a knife. The second scene is an eye-level shot where Al
eiah trips and falls in the street while being chased. Her friends scream her name as Emma approaches her with a knife. The following scene is a zoom in on the hand of a dead Aleiah after being stabbed to death by Emma. The hand will have ”Produced by Brianna Reyes” displayed on it. The next scene is a 2-shot where Angie is hiding from Emma in the backyard of the house yet is still found by Emma. It then switches to an over the shoulder shot where Emma is smiling creepily and preparing to kill Angie. There’s then an eye-level shot where Angie backs up to the wall while trying to escape. Her back is against a window and Emma bangs her head against it. Angie then slides down the wall with blood smearing on the window. ”Story by Angie Mendez” is seen during this scene 

 

5th sheet:  

A high-angle shot will show Lili hiding in the bathtub of her bathroom shivering. In this scene Lili is hiding from Emma after all her other friends have been killed. The next scene on this sheet is a medium shot where Emma goes to the bathroom and sees Lili’s shadow in the curtain. Emma then pulls back the curtain and Lili jumps. Emma raising the knife to kill her can be seen. In the next scene there’s a close up of Lili’s hand smearing blood on the wall while a scream is heard. At this point “Written By: Lili Amblard will appear in blood.” The next scene is a zoom out & close up. In this scene Lili startles awake and seems disoriented by the type of dream she just had. She then hears the doorbell and says, “oh no”. The final scene in this sheet is a four shot and eye level. In this scene Aleiah, Angie, and Emma arrive and ring the doorbell. Lili answers and says, “Hi” while “Direct by Lilah Brianie” is displayed along the three girls backs.
